Reap and Rush Difficulties
The community Q&A described five difficulty levels selectable at the start. Tiers 1–2 are beginner-friendly for bosses and story. Tiers 3–5 are for players chasing the True Ending. That is the only official difficulty philosophy we have; we will not invent numeric HP multipliers.
Realms named in patches
True Realm and Asura Realm (also written Asura) appear in Act II monster-pool fixes. Unfinished enemy configs were removed so the spawn pool would not freeze. Lotus Seeds can drop from random events after reaching True Realm (1.0.3). Shura Difficulty is named in the 12 August note that Ancestral Dragon failed to pay Tribute rewards there.
Practical advice
- Learn sealing and tributes on 1–2.
- Move to 3 when you can write a synergy sentence.
- Treat 4–5 and True/Asura as patch-sensitive; monster pools and tribute payouts have already been wrong and then fixed.
Difficulty 4 unlocking used to leave every NPC bubble stuck on—fixed in 1.0.2. Japanese localization even broke the Difficulty III description glyphs; that is also patched.
