Reap and Rush Endings
Official Q&A is blunt: difficulties 1–2 are story-friendly; 3–5 are the real test if you want the True Ending. That is the only ending philosophy in developer text. We will not invent a branching flowchart.
What Steam notes actually named
- True Realm and Asura Realm appear as Act II spawn-pool cleanups, not as ending titles.
- Shura is the high-tier label used when Ancestral Dragon failed to pay tributes (12 August).
- Lotus Seeds can drop from random events after you reach True Realm (1.0.3).
- Failing the Divine Dragon quest could soft-lock the client until 1.0.3.
Community overlay names (not patch bullets)
Chinese-language achievement roundups circulating after launch list Steam overlay titles such as 天师归位 (rescue Zhong Kui), 止戈 (defeat him without dealing damage), and 阴差阳错 / 坠入黑暗 (a dark join after Ancestral Dragon on a high difficulty). Those lines are community reports of overlay text, not 12 August news. Confirm in your own client. If an overlay name is missing, the badge moved or the write-up was wrong—do not farm a rumor.
Difficulty climbing still lives on difficulties. Named fights sit on how to beat.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which difficulty for the True Ending?+
Official Q&A points at 3–5. 1–2 are the on-ramp.
Is “Fall Into Darkness” official patch wording?+
No. It is a community overlay title. Trust the client.
Can I see every ending on difficulty 1?+
The True Ending is explicitly gated later. Side badges may still pop; several popped wrongly at launch.
